While the COVID-19 pandemic squashed the global meetings and convention industry in 2020, in-person conferences and trade shows are back in full force for 2021 and beyond.

Similar to other industries and associations, the construction industry features hundreds of annual conferences and trade shows for home builders, remodelers, architects, and other related professions to network with industry peers, learn about the latest products and cutting-edge technology, gain new skills in education sessions, and explore exhibit space spanning tens of thousands of square feet.

To help you decide which trades shows to attend, or send your team to, we compiled a list of some of the most innovative construction expos happening across the U.S. and Canada.

1. Atlanta Build Expo

When: July 21-22, 2021, Cobb Galleria Centre, Atlanta, Georgia Cost: Free for industry professionals

3. Greenbuild International Conference + Expo

9. Louisville Build, Renovate & Landscape Expo

January 14-16, 2022, Kentucky International Convention Center, Louisville, Kentucky

This comprehensive home show brings together homeowners and many of the most knowledgeable and experienced remodeling and building experts. Every aspect of the home can be explored, from the smallest design detail to the largest house addition. 10. World of Concrete

January 18-20, 2022, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada

World of Concrete (WOC) has been serving the global concrete and masonry construction industries for 46 years. The organization connects and educates buyers and sellers through live and digital events throughout the year, facilitated via worldofconcrete.com, WOC360.com, and its bimonthly WOC360 e-newsletter. WOC’s goal is to provide this important community with the connections, intelligence, and opportunities that help customers grow, do business, and make better informed business decisions.

11. NAHB International Builders Show (IBS) 2022

February 8-10, 2022, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida

12. CONSTRUCT

2022 date and location to be determined

CONSTRUCT is an AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) educational program and exhibition that brings together the different disciplines within the construction industry to help improve building for the future. CONSTRUCT provides a platform for exploring and refining innovative solutions to complex problems facing the AEC industry today. During the three-day educational program and two-day expo, industry leaders converge with a common goal of educating and inspiring for the betterment of the industry.

13. New York Build

March 2022, Javits Center, New York City, New York

Cost: Free

New York Build is the largest construction show in New York. Since its launch five years ago, New York Build has steadily built up a loyal following of construction industry leaders, drawing in attendees with its focus on New York and the surrounding Tri-state region, its first-class content, free AIA- and CES-approved workshops, entertainment and multiple networking events. 

14. ServiceTitan Pantheon 

Los Angeles, California, April 21-22, 2022
