TitanAdvisor Updates: Scoring for Proven ROI

December 4, 2025

Episode Overview

ServiceTitan recently made more than 200 updates to TitanAdvisor to identify and improve the checkpoints that drive the highest ROI, based on customer feedback and real-world data. With its re-engineered scoring mechanism, TitanAdvisor now gives more weight to features with a proven ROI and removes irrelevant checkpoints for a clearer path forward.

In the next episode of Mastering ServiceTitan—where you get expert advice from power users—Mitul Bhat, Director of Product Management at ServiceTitan, dives into the latest TitanAdvisor updates to demonstrate how they help customers unlock maximum growth.

Learn how the scoring is now tailored for both residential and commercial customers, why your Titan Score is likely to increase, and how this investment in core ServiceTitan will help your business improve average ticket size, call booking rates, and overall revenue.

What is TitanAdvisor?

TitanAdvisor provides personalized recommendations for your service business, essentially functioning as your go-to consultant to help you capture more opportunities, increase your average ticket, follow up on unsold work, and generate more revenue.

“It's really our in-product guide. It’s a way to learn how to get the most out of ServiceTitan,” Bhat says. “It guides you step-by-step through setting up features and analyzing your usage to know how to get the most out of the product.”

That’s the reason ServiceTitan originally developed TitanAdvisor and continues to make feature enhancements today.

“Our research has shown all along that when customers get the most out of ServiceTitan's features, their business does better,” Bhat says. “And when customers are growing, we're also delivering what we promised.”

It’s also a good place to start, especially if your administrative staff is feeling overwhelmed by the software’s full functionality.

“ServiceTitan covers such a broad area that it can be hard to know where to focus next. And TitanAdvisor is really the solution for that. It lays out that step-by-step path of what else you could be doing,” he adds.

For every checkpoint your business completes for setup and usage, the more points get added to your overall Titan Score. Businesses with a high score are maximizing ServiceTitan's capabilities, with those in the top quarter experiencing double-digit growth.

“It really ties to not just your revenue growth, but actually when we've dug into it, it's also things like your ticket size, your call booking rates. All those different outcomes for your business tend to be better correlated with those Titan Scores,” Bhat explains.

Exciting new TitanAdvisor updates for Fall 2025

First, it’s important to take note that no retraining is required to utilize the most recent TitanAdvisor updates. The experience and layout remains the same.

“That's a win for everybody, because we know how difficult it can be to kind of master a new workflow,” Bhat says.

Most of the updates happened behind the scenes with a focus on updating the scoring mechanism to get smarter and more focused on delivering maximum ROI.

“We're giving more points, more weight, to the features that have that proven ROI. We've also simplified the journey,” Bhat says.

Here’s a quick summary of the TitanAdvisor updates:

  • 39 Checkpoints Received Score Increase—these checkpoints previously offered no points, but showed a clear link to business growth; increased 14 checkpoints from zero to one point and 25 checkpoints from zero to two points for areas that impact business outcomes like revenue and booking rates.

  • 36 Checkpoints Redefined—instead of giving points for simply turning the feature on or using it, the new logic for success of these checkpoints looks for real impact.

  • 54 Checkpoints Added for Commercial Versions—added 54 commercial versions of existing features where success of the feature better matches the usage for commercial and construction customers.

  • 51 Checkpoints Removed— removed any setup checkpoints that customers found confusing or offered little to no value for their business growth. Many were more geared toward the setup phase, rather than the ongoing customer journey.

  • 16 Checkpoints Added—all ServiceTitan users can now earn points for completing the ServiceTitan Certified User Program, setting up Journal Entries and Touchless Accounting, and utilizing the Adjustable Capaciting Planning and Weekly Dispatch Board features.

“This is an update where customers are getting more recognition in their Titan Scores for doing the work that really matters,” Bhat says. “Most, though not all, of our customers are actually going to see their scores go up with some of those changes.”

Adjustments to scoring weights and TitanAdvisor resources

To make the updates, the ServiceTitan data science team analyzed three different buckets of data, according to a recent webinar on TitanAdvisor updates:

  • Noise reduction: Adds new ServiceTitan features to TitanAdvisor, if missing; Also reduces the number of features that go unused and just cause noise in the system.

  • Threshold updates: Use AI and machine learning to determine the specific levels of product usage that are the most impactful to drive success.

  • Redistribute value: Give higher points to the things that are most likely to improve performance.

In simple terms, Bhat says the team looked for cases where customers used one feature over another feature, then compared the difference in outcomes between customers who used that feature and customers who did not. And the team did this feature analysis at scale, meaning the exercise was completed over and over for each feature.

“Then we boil that down to say, ‘Okay, which are those features that are really bubbling to the top? And let's make sure that those have the highest score values in TitanAdvisor.’ The good news is, in many cases they already did,” Bhat says. “But, we were able to adjust those weights and give points to those features and those functionalities that really rose to the top.”

To maximize ROI for customers, the team updated features with the most impact on revenue growth, average ticket size, recall booking rate, and office efficiency. The ultimate goal was to recognize customers for making progress on set-up, usage, and impact, Bhat says.

Ignite sessions and new features for commercial and roofing customers

TitanAdvisor is here to help you navigate ServiceTitan, even providing pathways to know what to focus on next.

“For example, if there's a feature recommended that's really irrelevant to your workflow, there’s a way to hide it and get it out of the way,” he says. “So, check it out and start exploring, but know there are ways to customize it or make sure it's relevant to your business.”

Bhat also recommends attending Ignite, Spark, or Ember sessions to learn more.

“Our partners who run the Ignite Sessions are just a tremendous resource in terms of how to get the most out of TitanAdvisor,” he says, and they’re all free to attend.

TitanAdvisor is available to every customer at no extra charge as part of the core ServiceTitan package. It's also tailored to whatever package you have, including helping you get the most out of the Pro Products offerings.

The recent update also added 54 commercial versions of existing features where success of the feature better matches the usage for commercial and construction customers.

“We definitely have heard our customers’ feedback that TitanAdvisor was skewing a little too much on the residential side, and didn’t reflect the full breadth of our industries and trades that we work with,” Bhat says. “That's something we're making a step towards with this, but we'll continue to do that. There'll be more that we do for our roofing and commercial customers in the months to come.”
