Born in the trades, Ara Mahdessian grew up watching his father, a residential contractor, work long days in the field and long nights at home managing the business. Ara met his ServiceTitan co-founder, Vahe Kuzoyan, on a college ski trip where the two bonded over their shared culture and upbringing – both Armenian-American immigrants who saw their parents tirelessly work their way up from service technicians to proud owners of trades businesses.

Armed with a unique knowledge of the industry, they set out on a mission to provide the trades with an end-to-end technology platform to help contractors grow their businesses and reach the level of success they deserve. Today, the company powers over 11,800 home and commercial service providers across ten trades with a software solution to manage every aspect of their business.
