Almost any HVAC tech out in the field probably knows the gap that exists between their services, and the HVAC services a customer needs. A struggle that often leads to spending too much time on a sale that ultimately won’t close. This gap and the struggles it brings are clearly understood by Conduit, the LiDAR-powered design and sales platform for HVAC professionals.

“Design is sales and sales is design,” said Marisa Reddy, Co-Founder of Conduit Tech, as she opened her Pantheon session. During her talk, she explained Conduit’s mission: to enable skilled trade pros to sell more by selling quality.

The challenge: Price pushback and a commodity mindset

Reddy laid out the friction points she has seen across many HVAC sales teams:

  • Pricing resistance

  • Commodity perception

  • Weak customer journey

  • A messy discovery process

Underneath those are familiar patterns are issues that may sound familiar, limited communication and jargon, closers focused on “the sell” instead of the homeowner, the wrong closing strategy, lack of personal connection, and many others.

For Conduit, the fix starts on site. “The Key: Differentiating on site through time, tech and tools to show why you are the only company for that customer,” Reddy said.

The toolset: LiDAR, load calcs, and a clear “why” behind price

Conduit positions its platform as a technology-enabled sales process built for HVAC teams from first walkthrough to install. With their solutions, they seek to give a WHY to the price HVAC techs give to customers and allow techs to focus on what matters, the customer experience.

Technology, Reddy emphasized, isn’t there to talk over the customer. It’s there to make quality visible and the decision simple. Or, as she put it: “Conduit is the sales process of tomorrow.”

  • Collect photos, notes, and homeowner concerns in-app

  • Run instant LiDAR load calculations with room-by-room sizing and recommendations

  • Use 3D visuals to highlight problem zones and airflow imbalances

  • Document sensitivities (like allergies) and link them to design choices

The payoff: consistency, credibility, and better close rates

Reddy pointed out that contractors using Conduit today have already reported faster load calculation times, higher average tickets, and improved conversion after adopting their tech-enabled process. The bigger win, Reddy suggested, is consistency. A repeatable, customer-first experience across every tech that reduces variance and builds a brand that stands apart from “three prices on a kitchen table.”

ServiceTitan and Conduit’s integration will merge sales proposal and enablement tools with their suite of AI automation products, empowering contractors with fast and accurate measurement tools, custom visuals for homeowners, and many other advantages.

Reddy’s talk made it clear, Conduit is here to shift the conversation from price to value.
