‘Love at First Demo’: ServiceTitan is No. 1 in G2 Field Service Management Software Rankings

ServiceTitan hasn’t been a part of G2’s ranking of field service management software for long. But the Glendale, Calif.-based software company is already No. 1

G2, an industry leader specializing in technology company reviews, looks to help businesses “discover, buy, and manage the technology they need to reach their potential” based on several factors. And it judges those factors through surveys of those who know the products best—customers. 

In ServiceTitan’s case, that means businesses in the trades who run their company with the cloud-based software solution and mobile app for field technicians. They depend on it every day to increase visibility, efficiency and profits.

Users praised the functionality, user-friendly nature, improvements in automation and customization in business processes and workflows such as invoicing and sales presentation, customer management (CRM) tools and more. 

“(I)t is a living, changing product that changes based on the feedback from users,” one review reads. “I have used this software since 2015 and it has grown as we have grown.”

That kind of B2B review is growing in importance for every industry, and the weight they carry is immense. If you won’t choose a hotel or restaurant, or pick one refrigerator over other similar products, without reading reviews, you certainly won’t choose a field service management solution that’s essential to the success of your business without them. 

And, businesses want the best. ServiceTitan shares a “best” ranking on G2 with companies that include Zoom, Skype, Microsoft, Cisco, Shopify and QuickBooks, all of which have similar ratings in their categories.

Numbers tell part of the story. Of the 103 reviews from service providers given to ServiceTitan by early February of 2021, 95 were either five-star or four-star. That’s 92%. And while ServiceTitan will strive to make the ratings 100% five-star, the company is proud of every star it receives.

Breakdowns of specific areas of customer satisfaction bring more context. G2 surveys users of products about their satisfaction in six areas: 

  • Ease of use

  • Meets requirements

  • Ease of doing business with

  • Ease of setup

  • Quality of support 

  • Ease of administration

In G2s’s Usability Score Breakdown, ServiceTitan is the software to use, with an overall score of 8.9. ServiceTitan was at 86 percent or higher in five of the six categories and 90 or above in three.

Another part of the story, and perhaps the most important: The tributes from users. One headline summed up the feelings of many: “Love at first demo.”

“It would be difficult to grow and manage my business without operational software like ServiceTitan,” wrote William L (the way names are listed on G2). “At this point, we have grown so much that I (can’t) possibly understand all the aspects of the business, but that is OK because with ServiceTitan I'm able to successfully manage them.

“That is something I gained through learning to understand the best practices that were built into how ServiceTitan is designed.”

The community of users

ServiceTitan is proud to connect users who can help each other with tips, suggestions and problem-solving. The sharing of ideas produces an all-boats-rise-with-the-tide effect. This does not go unnoticed.
