ServiceTitan® Releases Native App for Service Business Industry
HVAC and other service technicians can now access operational software without Internet connection via ServiceTitan’s new smartphone app.
Glendale, Calif., November 3, 2015 — ServiceTitan®, a cloud-based platform that manages all operational components of residential plumbing, HVAC and electrical home service business systems, announced the release of its new native application for field technicians to use on Apple and Android tablets anywhere, regardless of web connectivity. Designed to mimic the ServiceTitan browser-based mobile platform in an effort to maintain productivity and eliminate downtime from further training, the ServiceTitan’s Mobile App 1.0 is available now to all current users on iTunes and the Google Play Store.
“ServiceTitan has built a new mobile experience for technicians in the field," said ServiceTitan Head of Product, Harpreet Ahluwalia. “With this app, we’re shedding the limitation of a browser-based application interface for a native app that is more stable, flexible and powerful. Service business technicians can access customer records, customer preferences, custom forms, purchases, customer service call notes, current equipment and more, on their tablet.“
Unlike other browser-based applications, the ServiceTitan native app allows technicians the ability to access customer information and input data without worrying about Internet service disruptions. This provides a much more stable, flexible and powerful solution for field technicians. The native app uses a database stored on the hard drive of the device instead of a potentially unstable browser-based storage system. When offline, users can access the Mobile 1.0 application, making inputs that will be synced to the ServiceTitan cloud once a mobile data connection is made.
“While we’re very pleased with our new app, we still want to provide the very best solution for our clients and plan on launching an updated 2.0 version soon," said Ara Mahdessian, CEO of ServiceTitan. “From the start, our clients have seen a dramatic increase in their business’ ROI with the software solution, and now that it is available as a native app, we expect even greater efficiencies and profits — especially when 2.0 goes live.“
ServiceTitan launched in 2012 and has grown rapidly due to the incredible success of its initial customers. The company was recently named as one of the Top 100 tech companies in Los Angeles by Built in L. A. ServiceTitan is now the software of choice for organizations like Nexstar, Mr. Rooter, Mr. Electric, George Brazil, QSC, and hundreds of the world’s most successful home service businesses.
