Pricebook Pro users seeing stronger ticket sizes in 2020

ServiceTitan clients who are Pricebook Pro users have a higher average ticket size and their revenue has grown faster in 2020 than those who do not use Pricebook Pro, the company’s industry-wide data shows.

The numbers come despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses in the U.S. and elsewhere.

Pricebook Pro simplifies pricebook management for contractors, allowing pricebooks to stay up-to-date with new pricing, descriptions and images. The platform allows technicians to create good-better-best options for consumers and easily present upgrades and recommendations to maximize ticket size.

ServiceTitan studied the year-over-year data of 179 clients who have been using Pricebook Pro since 2019. The data shows revenue for 2020 has increased by 12% for Pricebook Pro users — vs. 2% for non-users.

In terms of ticket size, the average ticket size for contractors using Pricebook Pro grew at 14% year-over-year, as compared to 8% for non-users. The average ticket size for Pricebook Pro users was about $34 higher in 2020, through mid-April.
